2006 Heads-Up Championship

The 2006 National Heads-Up championship is underway at Caesar links

's Palace in Las Vegas. The field of 64 players has been trimmed to the elite 8. Here is a list of todays matches:

Jim McManus vs Chis "Jesus" Ferguson
Huck Seed vs Barry Greenstein
Daniel Negreanu vs Sean Sheikan
Ted Forrest vs Sam Farha

These should be some interesting quarterfinal matches. NBC will televise 6 hours of this tournament some time in April
