BBT3 and EPT Grand Finale Update: "Magician" Is Out

As for slightly smaller stakes tourneys, the Battle of the Blogger Tournaments at Full Tilt is finishing up another week with the Thursday night "Riverchasers" $10+$1 tournament tonight at 8pm CST. With a small point grab on Tuesday night during the Stud 8 "Skillz" tourney I moved up to 88th place!

That's heavy internet sarcasm at use here folks.

Unfortunately, the statistically best starting hand in hold em', AA, has been my final hand in 8 of the 21 tournaments where I donated my buy in to the 70-100 bloggers that show up nightly. Maybe lady luck will shine her light on me for a good run for the second half of these tourneys? I hope so. But for me, this series has been more about the ability to overcome beats and good waves of cards on a nightly basis and coming back fresh the next day in search of one those World Series of Poker seats, then strickly out playing the field. I know there are better players, so I'll need to rely on my mental stability (or lack thereof) to get back into the black as two minor cashes in nearly 21 tourneys has slapped my small bankroll down to the point where just entering these small tourneys is a decision in bankroll management versus just sitting down because the kids are in bed.
