Ah, our hero finally cracked the Battle of the Blogger Tournaments number three's money bin....

... to the tune of eighteen bucks.

Lose big, win small might be the title of my first, last, and only poker book but lately its been my mantra at the tables. But, not for the my fellow bloggers as they are racking impressive wins while securing the second and third spots in the Tournament of Champions which will award two World Series of Poker Main Event packages.

Event #2 (Monday's at the Hoy $24+$2 buy in 6-max NLHE):

This one was dominated wire to wire by Columbo who writes a great blog breaking down the game into game theory sections and is one blogger you don't want to tangle with after the flop if he has chips.

Event #3 (Blogger Skillz Series $12+$1 buy in Knockout Stud-Hi):

I managed to get the bottom money here, then ran an average stack into the ground due to not paying attention to the play of Kurokitty who pounced on my high card bluff with buried Aces. Long time and UB's official blogger Mean Gene went head to head with corron10 and found the wrong side of two pair with corron10 taking first prize of a little under $300.00 and the all-important TOC seat.

Tonight is the Mooooooooookie and its $11 buy-in will threaten to bust all blogger tourney records, the password is vegas1 and as always found on Full Tilt.com at 9pm CST.
