BBT3: Event #4 AlCanCrackAA
The Battle of the Blogger Tournaments stops for no one, even after aces are brutally cracked. It's the way of poker after I won a different blogger tournament at Bodog, yesterday's first BBT3 edition of the Mookie was shaping up for another deep run. I get lucky while defending my blinds with QTo from an open raising late position player (KuroKitty) and flop an open-ended straight draw. Call a flop bet, hit the straight on the turn, checkraise all-in, board doesn't pair and I have some chips.

But, my demise would be to the tune of my second dealt Aces of the short evening when BBT3 organizer AlCantHang raised from UTG and when folded around I smooth called. King high flop was a perfect set-up as we get two well above average stacks in with his AKo, and to my dismay the flopped King sees a brother on the river which emitted a george carlin-like rant out of my mouth for the next 30 seconds.

But, he did use those chips for a final table run that ended when the 4th TOC seat winner "twoblackaces" used his Kings against Al's 99 to take down the Mookie. For those scoring at home the BBT3 leaderboard is up and running, I really could have used those points last night...

Tonight is the Riverchasers tourney at 8CST at Full Tilt.com (password: riverchasers) and it will be Pot Limit Omaha with a $11 buy-in.
