BBT3 Week Two Ends and Cantu Can Do at Bay 101

Since the Battle of the Blogger Tournaments begun there hasn't been much time to write about anything else besides the blogger-on-blogger violence occurring nightly at Full Tilt Poker. My little tally just rung up another $37 worth of losses this week since a combination of bad cards and worse play from myself pushed my tab for this series closer to the $200 mark:

Buy ins (Week 2): $26 + $11
Winnings: Yeah right.
Previous win/loss: -$117.50
Total (thru week 2): -$154.50

Someone who isn't complaining about poker tournaments is Brandon Cantu who just took down the World Poker Tour's Shooting Star Bay 101 for seven figures and as Wicked Chops Poker is happy to announce, he'll never have a shortage this year of Blue Diamond Almonds. Unfortunately that also meant that the WPT still does not have a female champion (outside of "Ladies Night" which is a 100% chance a female would win as long as Jose Canesco doesn't try to enter). Jennifer Harman took her final table starting short stack and rolled it up into a third place finish.
