BBT #3 Event #7: KillinKegz Kills PLO
In what was supposed to be a night that I'd give myself a fair shot at snagging a Battle of the Blogger Tournaments #3 Tournament of Champion seat, I decided sleep was king. The Blogger Skillz series featured four card bingo, otherwise known as Pot Limit Omaha Hi, with a knockout structure that awarded the players $2 to each person they knocked out who anted up the $13 buy-in.

Smokkee, who actually was the driving force behind getting another blogger tourney series going over at Bodoglife.com (which also will award a lucky blogger a World Series of Poker Main Event seat plus oodles of swag) took down the tourney and snagged the 7th seat into the TOC.

Now these small buy-in tourneys might not seem like much but considering that a TOC seat has a 2 in 55 chance of turning into a $12,500 prize package it's a reason to take the game seriously.

At least for most.

As my luck, I got into a hand during the Mookie last evening with someone who had better things to do with their eleven bucks. Bitter? Maybe a bit. But, I did make the right call of his push extremely early in the tournament with AK and his K3s improved to a whopping pair of threes that crushed my ace high. I haven't seen the official leaderboard updated yet, but will report the Mookie's weekly winner and the #8 seat to the big show tomorrow.
