The Battle of the Blogger tournaments or Blogger Poker Challenge, was a smashing success in bringing together my fellow internet Scribes to the virtual tables for almost night battles at our usual weekly tournaments.

Yesterday the finale of the BBT started at Full Tilt with all 56 runners that qualifed for the tourney via top 50 in points thru out the challenge or by competing in at least 20 of the 30 events. Due to technicial difficulties this was a re-start from the original July 25th date, but Full Tilt kicked up the $1,850 to a rounded $2,500 for the bloggers to fight over.

Personally, I survived down to three tables and lost a couple of coin flips while passing on in 23rd or so. But, it was NumbBomo's night as his trip Kings out kicked HighOnPoker while heads up to take down the freeroll and pocketing $650.00 in the process.

A general thanks to all that organized this tourneys into something that got us together for an evening of competitive fun over the course of the past month. I do hope that the first BBT is not the last and using this challenge as a building block to the next one to make it even more fun for those who couldn't compete in most of the tourneys.
