Bodoglife.com "Send A Blogger to the WSOP" Series Starts Tonight
Filed in archive Internet Poker on February 5, 2008
Actually if I mention I'm blogger a female bartender will point at me while chatting with her co-worker as if to "take care of the creppy guy with the Vikings cap on" and I think I managed to snag a ½ off buffet coupon last time I visited Sin City after playing Pai Gow for several hours.
Bodoglife.com is going to throw some perks at us over the next couple of month as bloggers are invited to join their Poker Blogger Tournament Series which the 18 top players when the series ends will be invited back in a private freeroll awarding a $12,000 World Series of Poker buy-in package plus Bodog swag of course to the winning scribe.
For all the details, hop over to Smokkee's site as bloggers will need to sign up for the series prior to playing in the tournament.
A little tidbit about the series from Bodoglife:
How it Works
The Bodog Poker Blogger Tournament Series is composed of a series of 18 qualifying tournaments that run weekly beginning Tuesday, February 5th, 2008 to Tuesday, June 3rd, 2008. The top 30% of finishers in each qualifying tournament will earn points based on their finish. These points will be used to rank players over 4 months of qualifying. At the end of the qualifying series, the top 18 players on the Tournament Leader Board will play in the Final Tournament on Tuesday, June 10th, 2008 with the first place finisher winning a $12,000 WSOP* prize package!
