David "Chip" Reese wins his 3rd WSOP bracelet by defeating Andy Bloch in the $50,000 HORSE event. According to Poker News, the final table consisted of 9 players who had combined to win 37 WSOP. Three members of the "Big Game", the $4000/$8000 mixed game at the Bellagio, Chip Reese, Doyle Brunson, and Phil Ivey all finished in the top 8. This was no surprise since those 3 players play these mixed games on a daily basis. After an exhausting battle that included 31 hours of poker in a 42 hour period and 7 hours of heads-up play, Reese went all in preflop with AQo and was called by Bloch with 98o. Reese's AQ held up and gave him the 2nd most prestigious bracelet of this years WSOP and a first place prize of $1,784,640
