Daily Double Tourneys
Filed in archive Internet Poker on January 19, 2007
Multi-tabling isn't for everyone nor does it require the skill set of a thirteen year old World Champion of Quake/CounterStrike/Halo. In fact while folding hand after hand it can sharpen your senses a bit and make you become more aware of your surroundings at the table.
Full Tilt has introduced a fun way to multi table tourneys by having them linked to one another. Below is from the Full Tilt site describing their new Daily Double tourneys (I cashed in one, but not the other in my first try):
The jackpot is current at $18,698.25
Now, we're giving our tournament players even more ways to win. Play in our new Daily Double events for your chance to take home a share of our daily Progressive jackpot - in addition to your tournament winnings.
There are four ways for you to win:
PERFORMANCE JACKPOT % WHO WINS
Double Cash 3% All players who cash in both tournaments
(shared equally)
Best Double Finish 2% The player(s) averaging the highest finish in both tournaments
(shared equally in the case of a tie)
Double Final Table 20% All players who reach both final tables
(shared equally)
Double Win 75% Any player who wins both tournaments
Look for these nightly $10 + $2 tournaments at 21:00 ET and 21:02 ET. You must enter both tournaments in order to qualify for the Daily Double, and $1 from each entry fee goes toward the next day's progressive jackpot.
This means that even if someone wins part of the jackpot, there will still be plenty of additional prize money to play for the next day. So if you have what it takes to win two tournaments at the same time, you could be our first jackpot winner.
