Day 3 Ends Much Like Day 2: 2008 WPT LA Poker Classic
Day three ends much like day two did as Phil Ivey continues to plow thru the field in search of his first World Poker Tour event win. The LA Poker Classic at the Commerce Casino is heading into day four today at 12:30 PST with several big names lining up the top of the chip counts. Aforementioned Phil Ivey currently sitting 2nd in chips, World Series of Poker Ladies Event champ and actress Jennifer Tilly is 3rd in chips, and Full Tilt sponsored pro David Singer rounds out the top four with only 8,000 chips less then Tilly.

With 58 players remaining from the starting crowd of 665, all are in the money and looking to hit the $1.6 first prize. Further down the chip ladder you'd find even more poker "stars" hoping to grab a seat at the TV final six table. LAPC defending champ Eric Hershler and "Poker Brat" Phil Helmuth are both under the par amount with blinds starting at 3K/6K in about an hour and will need to make moves quickly to survive.

As always go right to the source at worldpokertour.com for all the latest updates and video interviews of the top players by hottie hostess Kimberly Lansing.
