FTOPS V Events Two and Three
Two more Full Tilt Online Poker Series events are in the books with a pair of $216 buy in events being played last week. In event number two, Full Tilt pro David Singer loaned his avatar to take on 1,036 thoroughbreds as the dash towards the first prize of $51,800 was up for grabs. SENDIT16 would overcome the entire field for the win after defeating AngelTheresa heads up in Razz.

Here's a small portion of the recap from Full Tilt.com:

Though the railbirds flew the coop for the opening of the $150K HORSE event, they managed to migrate back and made their presence known as the final table played out - even the Event #1 champion, "Kadabra" made an appearance, calling for an FTOPS tournament of champions. But the chirping from the rail was no match for fourth-place finisher "RiverKill3er" who had the quote of the night with, "I play high-stakes jump rope" - one small part of the craziness at the final table.

Unfortunately, a sense of humor - or jump roping talent - was not enough to keep "RiverKill3er" in the tournament. After the break, "RiverKill3er" was silenced, mucking the elimination hand against "AngelTheresa's" Ace-high flush, but still had a good laugh, taking home more than $12K for his fourth-place finish.
Third-place finisher, "joshuah333" was then crippled during the closing stages of Omaha Hi/Lo by "AngelTheresa's" full house, and eliminated shortly thereafter in the opening stages of Razz play. (continued at Full Tilt.com)

For FTOPS event #3 the $216 buy in, multiple World Series of Poker bracelet champion Allen Cunningham dropped by to challenge over 1,600 players for the nearly $62 thousand dollar winner's share. Pot Limit Hold Em' was the game and JensV played it well enough to take home the first place winnings plus the cooliolinks FTOPS champion football player avatar. On the heels of a runner runner flush, JensV caught up to his opponent, Red Bikini's, preflop "Presto!" (or pair of fives for those not familiar with the hand naming). Here's the heads-up final call from Full Tilt.com's blog:

As heads-up play began, "JensV" had $3.1 million in chips to the $1.7 million of "Red Bikini." But "Red Bikini" soon evened things up after winning a big pot, and the action went back and forth from there. Then, after over an hour of final table play, "Red Bikini" was all-in with pocket 5s versus the A-7 of "JensV," with the championship on the line. There was no luck for "JensV" on the flop, but it did open up the possibility of a backdoor flush with her seven of diamonds. Runner-runner diamonds sealed the deal for "JensV" as she was crowned champion of FTOPS Event #3. "Red Bikini" put up a great fight and won a terrific $38,144.40 for her performance. But in the end, it was "JensV," whose solid play throughout this marathon tournament, earned her $61,901 in prize money and the coveted gold FTOPS jersey... (continued at Full Tilt.com)
