FTOPS VII Crowns Its First Hundred Thousandaire
"Is there really over a thousand people gone after the first hour?" was a pondering thought I had as I was skimming the Full Tilt Online Poker Series VII first event. In between chasing my own flush draws while playing Pot Limit Omaha 8 or Better, I was checking in to see if some bloggers I knew that had entered were doing well.

As mentioned yesterday I figured the two thousand person figure was very low as I drafted the pre-game kickoff post to the FTOPS VII. Sure enough 5,319 hopefuls were at the starting gate to bust the $750,000 guarantee Full Tilt had put up and created an over one million dollar prize pool.

"PearlJammed" Jon Turner was the highest finisher of the red outlined Full Tilt pros as he tripled his buy in at 160th place. My friend Joe Speaker got a bit unlucky with a JJ vs. AA after getting into the money but managed a nice two times buy-in score. But, it was "cashmaker81" who took home enough for sizable down payment on a house, $183K got shipped to his bankroll.

Tonight for four card bingo fans is the $240 + $16 PLO Knockout event. Giving more reason to chase down that flush as you'll get money back for each player you dispose of.
