Greenstein In the Hunt at the North American Poker Championship
The World Poker Tour seems to be suspicious of ghosts and goblins possibly looking up hole cards and causing misdeals as they take a day off the current tournament. Actually it's a rest day that just happened to fall on Halloween at the North American Poker Championship, where only 18 players will be returning to the Fallsview Casino tomorrow to battle it out.
$1,387,224 will be awarded to first place which is only a few hundred thousand more then I just spent at Target and Toys R' Us for Christmas gifts. Among those remaining is Barry Greenstein, who was on ESPN last night as part of the WSOP $50,000 HORSE final table. I'm sure he'll be pleased to keep his copy of "Ace on the River" and autograph it to himself after the final table is done. As seen last night, Greenstein gives a copy of his book to the person that knocks him out of any tournament.
Not a bad prize especially if someone like myself were to luckbox his way into a major tourney and manage to knock off the "robin hood" of poker.
The tourney starts up again tomorrow with Jonathan Little as its chip leader. Be sure to catch all the action being live blogged on WorldPokerTour.com !
