Gus Hansen Wants 4th WPT Title

The live blog at this hour notes that the World Poker Tour WPT Championship at the Bellagio in Las Vegas that a mere 22 players from the starting block of 545 still have chips. As one pops up the WorldPokerTour.com front page, you'd see some familiar names at the top of the leaderboard, like day three leader Robert (not 4th highest money earner on the WPT Michael) Mizrachi sitting comfortably in 5th place.

Solely in first by carefully playing only Aces and Kings for four days is the only person at the Bellagio poker room that has a shot of becoming a four-time WPT champ, Gus Hansen. Ok, maybe the "great dane" switched up his play a little bit this week to include AceKing suited, but you can't deny his nearly one million chip lead over current 2nd place Cory Carroll, who finished 2nd at the Mirage Poker Showdown last year, to go with his World Series of Poker circuit event win in at Caesar's Palace.
