High Stakes Prop Bets
high stakes poker is shown on TV almost daily thru the various tournaments and the popular "High Stakes Poker" show on the Game Show Network. At the poker forums of 2 + 2, one can find tales of $50,000 calls on the river with a mere pair of threes or discussions on various hands that go beyond the cards dealt.

Of course with the increased stakes come increased competitiveness. One such contest has two well known posters duking it out for $50,000 in a heads up match at UltimateBet. Poker players are known for making prop bets on the cards coming out or the bra size of the next woman to walk into the room so it comes as no surprise that there's nearly 30 pages of prop betting on the outcome of the contest within the thread.
