My friends gathered again up at Dave and Busters to blow a few bucks on adult games and overpriced brews. I managed to earn enough tickets for a Hello Kitty pencil tip eraser and some oversized Boxing Gloves for the little one to take his aggression out on the blow up Spongebob Squarepants knock down doll at home.
After a rousing game of skee-ball we headed back to my place for a sit and go tourney for seven people. Since I also at the Wii nearby, the guys were itching to break out their inner Kirby Puckett with a little Wii Baseball so many hands were played a little more loosely then others.
I get knocked around verbally for playing fairly tight all the way down to three people left and I'm on the money bubble once again as first paid out $45 and second $25.
Effective stacks were as followed:
BB: 3500
SB (me): 3000
Button: 500
With aggressive blinds because the other room was hopping with beer and Wii bowling we were at the 400/800 blind level and I look down at A8s. The button folds still clinging to his last chips, and now I'm faced with a decision. Folding will force him all-in next hand versus the chip leader and I'm still in shape to get lucky and win it, push and take over the chip lead, or the worst decision of calling and seeing a flop before pushing.
What would you do?

In my case, I played tighter. I think it's only natural. I ended up taking 2nd place. Maybe if I had pushed (perhaps if I had the Wii in the other room), I would have been able to have a shot at 1st... but, I was facing a chip leader on an incredible run.
