You are aware that you don't have enough money to make it to Las Vegas, so what other option do you have to? I would suggest that you host a poker party at your home and invite a selected group of friends to give you company.
Before inviting friends for the poker party you need to figure out whether it will be an informal one or would be based around Texas Hold'em. You need to decide the location of the party – whether you would like to conduct it inside the house or outside near your above ground pool. Conducting a party outside will enable you to enjoy the cool fresh air and blue water of your pool and it will be absolutely different from the dull setup inside the room.
For the party you will also need poker supplies which should include a stable poker table, anywhere between 100 to 900 poker chips and at least two decks of playing cards.
With all the preparation done, now all you need to do is call up your set of friends informing them about the venue and time of the party.
