I'm On My Knees
Filed in archive Internet Poker on February 6, 2007
Sitting behind the counter at the local retail store looking good in my red smock ladden with service awards, pens, and assorted items to help any customer with their home office questions.
Need a credenza? I'm your man.
Setting up a home office? Let me get the forms, delivery information, and we'll send out that homecube so you'll feel just like you're sitting at headquarters playing minesweeper.
But, I always admitted if we were out-of-stock or if there was a better deal somewhere else. It may have hurt my temporary sales but those customers usually came back because they knew they were getting honest advice.
Unfortunately, I've been called liar twice now by the wonderful customer service of Absolute Poker. It seems that they've "added" the funds to my account without actually doing so. Yet with each successive email of informing them of the error... gets the same reply "I already added the funds sir".
For a smaller poker room I would hope the simple spot checking of my account could be done to verify that the funds were never added and may have been credited towards a different account.
For now the low-limit challenge will be put on hold until such time that Absolute decides to own up some customer service and put together my computer desk.
