Jamie Gold Invited to Join GSN’s High Stakes Poker
According to the Casino City Times, new 2006 WSOP champion, Jamie Gold, has been invited to participate in season 3 of The game show Network's High Stakes Poker. The show is the only cash game on television with a buy-in of at least $100,000 and has players risking their own real money. It should be interesting to see how Gold's hyper-aggressive tournament style translates to cash game play. Current members of High Stakes Poker include Daniel Negreanu, Mike Matasow, Doyle Brunson, and Phil Laak. The show, like the previous 2 seasons, will be filmed in Las Vegas with dates and players participating to be announced at a later date. High Stakes Poker shows every Monday night at 9 PM EST on GSN.
