You could do a lot within that time span: watch Rounders about 13 times, run a marathon in world record setting time 11 times, or win the World Series of Poker Europe Main Event. Sure you'd get plenty of Teddy KGB quotes to impress your friends or bragging rights at your next runner's club meeting but most people would enjoy the bracelet and the £868,800 John Juanda just claimed.
After defeating a world-class final table containing Daniel Negreanu, Scott Fischman, and "November Nine" participant Ivan Demidov, Juanda laid claim to his fourth WSOP bracelet. Stanislav Alekhin was the only player standing in the way Juanda's victory. Alekhin held the lead into hand # 479 where Juanda's top pair fended off a flush draw for the Russian after the flop and Juanda took a six million to 600,000 chip lead.
Five hands later an all-in and a call from Juanda holding K6o vs. Alekhin's A9o with Juanda flopping trip sixes for the winning hand and the championship.
