Kill Phil by Blair Rodman and Lee Nelson
A new poker tournament book, Kill Phil by Blair Rodman and Lee Nelson, advocates a using a allin preflop bet to neutralize more skilled poker players from outplaying you after the floplinks. Although the foreward was written by Phil Hellmuth, the book title is referring to "Phil" as any skilled player whether Hellmuth, Laak, Gordon, or Ivey. This allin preflop strategy is effective against professional players who are unwilling to risk a large portion of their chip stacks without a overwhelming preflop advantage. I recently purchased the book and it definitely gives a poker player an additional style to help combat world class players.
