Live At The Bike PPT
There's a thirst for new types of poker action as reruns of the World Series of Poker on ESPN and World Poker Tour on the Travel Channel can get a little stale after watching the same people push all-in hand after hand.
For the web savvy players out there (and you're probably one if you're reading here) can tap into LIVE high stakes action right thru the intertubes!
Via PokerNetCast.com you can tap into the current poker events going on at the famous Bicycle Casino for live cash game and sometimes tournament play. Some of the features are still free, but for full use of the website including all episodes with commentary by bart Hanson and Nicole Peppe also with the card hole camera it's just like railbirding in the comforts of your own home.
In the future I'll try to keep up with special events such as the recent Ladies Professional Poker Tour players that took up the feature table a few days ago.
Here's a little information if you have a few thousand dollars sitting around and would like a crack at some sharks live on the internet:
Anyone is allowed to sign up for the "Live at the Bike!" table…anyone. Simply come in early and put your name on the board. It's first come, first serve so you have to get here early and go directly to the plaza podium. They'll place your initials on the board and we'll call the game down at about 6:00pm. Look at the schedule page to see which game will be on. Remember, we change the schedule at our discretion, so if you really want to know what the game is for that evening, write to live@thebike.com or phone the Welcome Center at (562) 806-4646 x545 to confirm. We have the discretion to make the final seating decisions (though we rarely use it). Good luck!
