New Beginnings

The raise was a quarter with me looking down at two pair. The table wobbled a little on my left side unless you remembered to stuff a napkin underneath the footing. My grandma's face was one that could tell many stories but as I looked across the the table today, I found a blank page...

... and left with 25 cents less in my Spiderman wallet after she showed me three Kings

Today I start a new page from my normal abodes at http://nickleanddimes.blogspot.com/. I hope to bring my love for poker over here at Creative Weblogging. I started my blog for over two years ago and watched the explosion of poker go from the dusty backrooms of bars and occasional 5 card stud games with relatives; to the new internet age (which hopefully will continue in the U.S.) that started with Chris Moneymaker sponsored by PokerStars taking down the pros and the 2003 World Series of Poker Main Event.

Since I primarily play Omaha 8 or better, I'll dropping a couple of strategy posts about this game every week and I'll even throw in a few pointers on other games by requests :)
