Caesars Palace in Las Vegas recently opened a poker room in late December 2005 for the first time since the mid 80's. The $12 million project includes a spacious poker room and separate tournament area. Twenty-five big screen televisions are available to keep poker players updated on the latest sporting events. The tournament area has already hosted the National Heads-Up Championships which was won by Ted Forrest. Caesars will also host the WSOP circuit event in April. The new room should help put Caesars on the map with other large rooms on the strip including the
bellagio
, Mirage, and the Wynn.
