Overlay at the WCOOP, Event #23 and #24 action

World Championship of Online Poker Event #24 a $530 buy-in No Limit 2-7 Single Draw event was not only a new event, it was the first not to reach its guarantee. The streak of 21 events without an overlay is over but the huge tournament series is showing no signs of slowing down.

In Event #24, luvgamble had the right mind set for this test of wills and heavily favoring position play and timely bluffs. The seven person final table was set after Mills23 who made the final table of this year's other 2-7 Triple Draw Event #4, busted after his pat ten was caught up to by newhizzle who made a nine with his draw. luvgamble received $42,000 for his victory thanks to the guarantee by Stars.

Event #23 $530 one rebuy, one add on NLHE tourney had no problem making its guarantee as nearly all of the 1,159 entries re-bought and added-on. ddrufnek walked away with nearly $200K after a couple of deals were reached at the final table. He will also receive the WCOOP bracelet along with the cash for his victory.
