Filed in archive Tournament News on March 2, 2006

After a 2 year absence, the poker tournament circuit is returning to Binions Horseshoe in Las Vegas. The American Poker Player Championship is a 29 event tournament to be held at Binions Horseshoe from May 10th to 24th. The events range from $330 to $5300 and include limit holdem, no limit holdem, pot limit omaha hi, and 7 card stud. Satellites for the events start at $100 and all the tournaments will have 800 maximum entries. It good to see tournament poker returning to its roots at Binions Horseshoe since the WSOP has been held at the Rio the last 2 years.
