PokerPro Tables Open in Michigan
PokerTek continues to bring its PokerPro tables to more casinos. No dealer, no chip counts, just straight poker being played on separate computer screens. The automated process of the PokerPro machines means faster and accurate deals, for the skimpy players... no tipping the dealer. Save those dollars for the nice looking waitresses dropping by with your third Michelob Ultra.

With a wide variety of play and unlimited dealers, the WPT Poker Room at four winds casino/Resort in New Buffalo, Michigan could be the future of poker rooms across the United States. There's pros and cons to the electronic version of poker as most people who learned the game via the internet will have a shoe up on those grizzled from sitting in smoky cardrooms while mastering the check-raise.

Here's the opening press release from Four Winds and PokerTek about their state-of-the-art Poker Room:

The WPT Poker Room offers
15 PokerPro® tables and
4 PokerPro® Heads-Up™ tables.
Plus 6 restaurants, 3,000 slots,
and 100 table games.
