PokerStars.net not .com because all things UIGEA are still lingering and generally frown upon such things, is sending their representative to the NBC National Heads Up Championship taking place tomorrow at Caesar's Palace. Taking the very last spot in the bracket is the Pokerstars.net freeroll winner Alisha Kunze who no doubt is feeling a little overwhelmed by the massive talent in the tourney. Today they'll draw the names for the bracket ala NCAA style at Caesar's swanky nightclub, Pure, without the rankings of course or Phil Hellmuth would rant for three days about how he only received a number two seed.

For a little background on the PokerStars.net entry, I'll direct you to the email I received from them:

PokerStars.net, the world's largest and most innovative online poker site, made Alisha's dream come true after she won the exclusive prize through a PokerStars.net free qualifying tournament. Alisha's $20,000 entry fee into the National Heads-Up Championship will be picked up by PokerStars.net, along with four nights of accommodations in Las Vegas and $1,000 cash for travel. "I have a lot of preparation to do," said Alisha. "Playing heads-up is much different because it moves quicker and you have to play more hands. But I'm very excited and so grateful to PokerStars for this once-in-a-lifetime opportunity," said Alisha. When Alisha is not playing online poker, she enjoys serving as a Basketball Coachlinks for the Special Olympics. PokerStars.net held the only online "satellite invitation" into the field of 64 players. This is the first time in the history of the National Heads-Up Poker Championship that one online player was allowed entry into the celebrity and professional-only field to compete for $1.5 million on TV's highest-rated poker broadcast.

A $20,000 freeroll, plus free poker and life tips from Phil Hellmuth for four plus hours should you be lucky enough to face him? Take him down Alisha, hope you get a little face time on the big screen.
