Before there were poker blogs with ads and American online players even sniffed the Unlawful Internet Gambling Enforcement Act, there were poker bloggers waking up on Saturday mornings to play against each other in a series of small buy-in tournaments.

Saturdays with Dr. Pauly was one of the first attempts to get like minded Scribes together at a reasonable hour for some poker competition. The series would award prizes based on finish donated by the good doctor but most of all kept us in touch with one another through our common degenerate activity. This time around, there's no leaderboard, no points, and if you want a call from Daddy you'll have to find his number as the new "series" is going back to the roots as a way to meet up on cyberspace and maybe take home a couple of bucks.

PokerStars is the host and every Saturday four card bingo (Pot Limit Omaha) will be laid out for the bloggers and other readers of the Tao of Poker to join in for a $11 entry fee. I'll be there as long as my kids cooperate with their daily naps. No restrictions for having a blog or even liking blogs, just show up!
