Schmidl89 I'm sure was glad he joined into the fray, as his bankroll increased by a six-figure factor while taking out Pokerguden for the $100,000 first prize. Yep, $100,000 for simply earning enough FPPs while playing. Pokerguden, while taking $60,000 for second, probably had a few words to shout at his computer about how the last hand played out according to the PokerStarsBlog.com:
The final hand was a monster. Schmidl89 came in for a standard raise, Pokerguden re-raised with pocket kings, and Schmidl89 called. The flop came Th 9d 2h, Pokerguden pushed, and Schmidl89 called with Qh Td. The board put out two more hearts, giving Schmidl89 the flush and the victory.
