Starting with $60.00 (not $65.00 because the blackjack game didn't seem to want to give me a winning hand...) I had three sessions lasted approximately ninety minutes each.
The players were somewhere between loose/stupid and weak/tight as twice at showdown someone failed to reraise with the absolute nuts. Or maybe they were confused by those four cards siting in front of them.
Session #1:
Limit Omaha Eight or Better
90 minutes
$1/$2 blinds
6-max table
Profit: $1.00
Rolling in the dough here, but the object is to build a bankroll and my limit game isn't sharp after playing mostly Pot Limit for the past two years. Remember to value bet versus trying to push around people at the table with raises on scare cards that make a straight or flush.
Session #2:
Pot Limit Omaha Eight or Better
75 minutes
.25/.50 blinds
Full Table
Profit: $9.71
Despite being Pot Limit many folks were not folding at this table so nut peddling may be the key at these lower levels.
Session #3:
Pot Limit Omaha Eight or Better
90 minutes
.25/.50 blinds
Full Table
Profit: $20.58
AA23 came across my screen and provided a double up after some missed draws. Buying in for the minimum has hindered potential big wins but starting with only 3 min buy-ins in a volatile game I have to use some caution towards how much to risk.
Time for the fuzzy math... $1 + $9.71 + $20.58 = $31.29 profit for week one!
Bankroll going forward: $91.29
