I won my first ticket to the weekly Sunday Million last week and had the chance to outlast 5,000+ online players for a six figure payday. Not a bad return on a micro $2.20 investment. Since I'm not a tourney player, it was only recent foray into the vast maze of qualifers and sub-qualifers you can enter to obtain a ticket to these large tourneys on PokerStars. Several months ago I qualifed to play a $215 event at the FTOPS via an eight dollar investment on Full Tilt so it wasn't the first time I've had my shot at the big bucks.
Sadly, personal issues came up and this humble low roller could not take his shot so to speak. Instead due to Pokerstars' forward thinking, they allow you to "cash" in your tickets and trade them with other PokerStars members. With the help of a certain Aussie, he was able to sling cards with the online pros while I got a nice infusion of cash for my dancing in the PLO8 cash games.
