The Venetian Opens New Poker Room
The Venetian opened its new poker room with a 300 person no limit holdem tournament. Beatrice Stanzixger defeated Carlos Mortensen for the title and won a brand new Lotus. The Venetian spent $2.6 million to open an 11,000 square foot poker room. The room features 39 tables total with 7 tables reserved for high limit action. Kathy Raymond, who spent 14 years managing the poker room at Foxwoods, will be the new poker room manager at the Venetian.
