TJ Celebrates Number 60 in Oklahoma

You may ask the question if Scotty Nguyen held a poker tourney in America's heartland instead of the bright lights of Vegas or Atlantic City would people come?
You know it baby.
Scotty Nguyen's fourth installment of the Scotty Nguyen Poker Challenge being held at cherokee Casino in Tulsa, OK gathered up 124 runners to pay a $5,000 entry into its main event. With a final table containing red hot Bill Edler, TJ Cloutier, Gavin Smith, and the namesake of the tourney Scotty Nguyen it felt more like a World Series of Poker or World Poker Tour final table.
Unfortunately for Scotty he wouldn't be able to congratulate himself on a job well done in his own tournament with the championship trophy but did take home $15,035 for taking 8th when he ran his QJ into TJ's pair of tens pre-flop and the flip went in TJ's favor.
TJ would take those chips and accumulate all the rest of them from the final table to win his 60 major poker tournament title after his two pair beat out the top pair of Ray Henson on the final hand. For the win TJ took $240,560 home and hopefully the money did not end up directly behind the pass line or on a hard eight.
