WBCOOP Ends Drizz Not Sipping on Rum and Cokes In the Caribbean

Or they liked the potential trip to the Caribbean and a little side cash to spend on rum and cokes.
$10,000 in starting chips (my request to be cashed out was denied) and $25/$50 blinds showed a similar structure to many major tournament that people who pen recaps of the WPT/WSOP/EPT tourneys get to see versus having those chips in their own arsenal to check-raise with. I tried to make the most of the deep structure by using my crap cards (save one hand of AA in the small blind that netted me both blinds WHOO WHOO!) and creating stories about the strength of my hand versus value betting them.
The tall tales worked enough to keep my starting chips, but when the antes and higher blinds kicked in my stack simply wasn't enough to continue using power poker, and I resorted to its limp cousin weak-tight poker. K9o looked good enough to push with when folded to, and sure enough the big blind saw right through my meek push and called with big slick. Five cards later, I'm left holding a half empty Red Stripe and directing my attention to the Minnesota Vikings
game on TV which turned out to be a thriller. For the results and recap of all the very cool prizes that were dished out (including certain a G-Vegas rounder and New Yorker that snagged iPods, congrats BadBlood and Derek!!), head over to PokerStarBlog.com for the final table showings.
