WCOOP Event #20, #21, and #22

WCOOP High Rolling Weekend

The 2008 World Championship of Online Poker finished up three different events last night (and this morning) as the two day Event #20 $1,050 buy-in tourney welcomed back 43 players to play for over $450K. NYC P.I.M.P represented the city that never sleep well by winning the event and the bracelet but due to a five way chip chop, received $257,953.

Andy McLEOD the Event #16 champ, would hit the final table in the $530 buy-in Event #21 Stud Hi/Lo. Mc LEOD would be looking for a second WCOOP bracelet, but could only come up with 7th place for $6,562.50. Instead it was weaktight playing anything but weak-tight and taking the title over second place aldenpogi for $42,735.78

The mixed Omaha Hi/Lo 6-max Event #22 with a $530 buy-in shook things up for the players as they switched from min-betting to the wildness of the pot limit game every 15 minutes. Add in the gamble of 6-max and the final table was reached much sooner then most during the WCOOP at 5:30am ET. BUCKIZ6 took the title home earning $55,800 for the first place prize.
