When You Can't Do, You Pimp: WSOP 2008 Reading Guide
Since I am not currently huddled behind my laptop in the Rio's conference room where thousands of players have huddled together to strike first blood, I'll pimp those who are ready to bring the armchair poker fanbois at home a little taste of the World Series of Poker.

Pauly over at the Tao of Poker has hit the ground running with his own site's live blog versus living in the pits for his usual employer Pokernews.com. He'll writing features for the site still along with BJ Nemethhttp://web.mac.com/bjnemeth/iWeb/BJNemeth/Welcome.html .

Pokerlistings.com has beefed up their team of international reporters as my friend Jason Kirk and crew will cover all the events in real time. Please check out their live team with consists of several world tripping writers with a loaded passport full of experience.

PokerStarsBlog.com will primarily be covering those on Team PokerStars and the multitude of qualifiers through its online qualifiers. But that doesn't stop Brad "Otis" Willis and his crew of writers to cover not only what happens on the felt for the Team PokerStars pros, but also those who hit it big with a free seat via their weekly WSOP Main Event giveaways.

Flying in from Pittsburgh with one eye on the monitors for Stanley Cup updates (Detroit is currently up 2-1 in the series) is "Mean" Gene Bromberg. He'll be covering the entire WSOP for UltimateBet. Although he'll pawn off that his camera skills match his abilities to play Jacks under the gun, hit up the site for great pictures of the walkway going into the WSOP poker pit.

I'll post more sites and links when they start coming in, good luck to my friends at the Series!!
