North America rules again, as the last European Poker Tour event was taken by a Canuck, this time its USA USA USA! Tim vance from St. Louis, Missouri takes home a bucket load of Kroner/Euros/Dollars while defeating hometown favorite Soren Jensen (Denmark made up half of the final table) and pocketed 834,964 Euros.
WPT Season VI LA Poker Classic:
The high-on-star-power event is kicking into Day three at the Commerce Casino in Commerce, California. Once again Phil Ivey is tempting fans of his, as he's amassed a top 5 chip stack (currently 4th). Ivey's name has been seen several times as a chip leader/near chip leader on several World Poker Tour events this season but hasn't hit his late game stride for WPT win number one.
