WPT Foxwoods Down to 18,17,16...

Foxwoods Resort and Casino is a huge name and draw for live poker action. This week, they are hosting their annual Foxwoods World Poker Finals as part of the world poker tour. As I'm typing this the field has been trimed from starting block of 575 to just 17 players left vying for a final table seat and the $1.7 million first prize.
On the forefront at the moment are some big time names that include $50,000 World Series of Poker H.O.R.S.E. champ Freddy Deeb, who subsequently is also in the chip lead. Following closely is six time WSOP bracelet winner T.J. Cloutier currently second in chips and former WPT champion Nick Schulman hovering around the top five in chip count.
Defending champion Nenad Medic is giving himself a shot at a repeat performance, as he's still alive with under an average stack at the moment. And with the live blogging from WorldPokerTour.com Medic is assured at least 16th place as John Aguiar just got his aces cracked by a four flush on the river held by Michael Vela's 66.
As they would say on the bad beat boards on the 2+2 forums... Standard.
