As Wicked Chops Poker is quick to point out, 2007 World Series of Poker Main Event champion Jerry Yang hasn't inked a deal promoting a major poker site, told a backer that he wasn't paying, or gone on a hookers-and-blow binge to make some headlines.

Some might even question if he's played poker at all.

But, that will be changing soon as the current world champ will be making an appearance at the 2008 NBC Heads-up Poker Championship. A select group of the finest or at least most popular poker players will be competing once again at Caesar's Palace with the lovely Shana Hiatt doing the hosting.

No word on a sermon by Yang before the competition or if God will be intervening during coin flips.
