on July 17, 2010
A group of programmers have almost finished the development of a new piece of software which should change the face of online professional poker playing. Instead of staring intently at a silent screen and clicking a mouse for hours on end, hardcore poker gamers will welcome the news that Vox4Poker has reached beta stage, and is currently free.

This innovative piece of software allows a more realistic experience in online poker. Verbal commands on the real-life table are binding, and Vox4Poker allows gamers to control the game with voice recognition. It is available in French, English and Spanish and is currently compatible with Full Tilt Poker and Poker Stars. We are excited at the prospect of a more immersive online style of poker, so let us know your views on the new piece of software.

Kill Phil by Blair Rodman and Lee Nelson Internet Poker
A new poker tournament book, Kill Phil by Blair Rodman and Lee Nelson, advocates a using a allin preflop bet to neutralize more skilled poker players from outplaying you after the flop. Although the foreward was written by Phil Hellmuth, the book title is referring to "Phil" as any skilled player whether Hellmuth, Laak, Gordon, or Ivey. This allin preflop strategy is effective against professional players who are unwilling to [...] Read More

The final table is set for the World Poker Tour LA Poker Classic at the Commerce Casino and I'm sure Steve Lipscomb is doing a little happy dance about the final six. And that will be due to one Phil Hellmuth, [...] Read More

If you go over the World Poker Tour's website right now, you'll be greeted by a video preview of a smiling Phil Ivey with the lovely Kimberly Lansing. He smiles?!?! That's right, Phil Ivey [...] Read More

Phil Scolari is the choice for Manchester City - Isn't Sven still there? The Soccer Weblog
I had decided not to write about the ridiculous sacking of Sven Goran Eriksson any more. I have ranted about it enough already. I wasn't going to until the story took yet another twist today when it was revealed that Thaksin Shinawatra, or his people, have allegedly already offered the job to Portugal manager Luis Felipe Scolari. This just adds insult to the already substantial injury that Mr Shinawatra has already [...] Read More

BRUCE WILLIS LIMPS THROUGH "DIE HARD 4" The Celebrities Weblog
Source:www.vilhat.typepad.com The jovial grouch, bruce willis, seen here modeling a hat he hopes he'll grow in to, admitted that making the latest "Die Hard" movie was so hard to do he thought he would die. Maybe that's due to the fact that he's a 52-year-old playing the role of an "action" hero, when he has more in common with a child's toy action figure. The movie, "Live Free or Die Hard" , opens [...] Read More
See "The Poker Show" At The Venetian Las Vegas Play Las Vegas
Here's something different in Las Vegas Entertainment but it is a perfect choice for the world's premiere gambling city. As you make your way around the property you'll encounter strolling musicians and jugglers and there are actual shows performed in the replica of [...] Read More
